Last week a photographer friend from California was in the area! Martha set up a fantastic shoot at an old farm about an hour away from me and took me along! (thank youuuu) We spent the afternoon exploring the big farm and taking pictures of our cute little models! The place was sooo beautiful- dandelions, old fences, pillars, porches…barns…old cars. We both went crazy with all the cool old stuff and I’ll definitely have to split up posts from that day- there are too many!

I ended up spending most of my time with Martha’s daughter…she was just TOO cute and I guess she gets kinda sick of pictures (photographer’s child syndrome!) so she hadn’t taken any for a while! Lucky for me she was up for photos! So here you go Martha! Thanks for letting me tag along!

PS: For those of you have asked, YEP- these were all taken with my new 5D. And what I like best about it? Clarity…focus..my images are so much sharper with this camera!

It’s been a while since I’ve taken my little sisters’ pictures…and I had a few extra minutes this morning, so we had a mini photoshoot! Super mini actually… because they had to run off to the library literally 5 minutes into the shoot. But we got a few keepers… I think we might have to frame some for Mother’s Day!

Heather Meyers Photography: Hello :o) I've been stumbling across your work over the last little while and then finally went to your flickr and then found your blog - wow, you're work is incredible! Very inspiring! It's funny, when I first landed on your blog and was looking I said to my husband 'hmm, don't know why but I bet she is a homeschooler' ;o) And here later find out you were :o) I also was homeschooled, all the way, oldest of 6 kids - Maybe it's homeschoolers sixth sense or something :o) Haha I used to hate when people would say "you're a homeschooler, aren't you?" While in Ohio last week, I found even more cute people to take pictures of! (I know..they’re everywhere there!;) ) Meet Thomas & Kari! We had a big BBQ that night, and by the time we took these- it was almost dark! But of course, since they’re a super fun and photogenic couple- they turned out great!
