It is FINALLY nice enough outside to grab some pictures of a little purchase I made last fall. ;D This explains why I’ve been MIA lately! I’ve always loved yellow houses with front porches and this one kind of fell into my lap after I had given up looking for a while. Although I don’t love this yellow enough to keep it, it DOES make directions here easy. “Look for the ugly yellow and you’re there!” :D It’s been a long ND winter of being tucked away in here so get ready for lots of outdoor photos coming up. I’ve been shooting whenever it doesn’t rain! PS: I’m trying my thumb at gardening. I wish I was Aura Joon, but I am not so I need all the help I can get! Please and thank you;)

Family picture time is such a trying shoot for all of us..the shoot drags on and on and no one can be photogenic for even a few minutes. We try to outdo last year’s photo with better chairs and better outfits.. then everyone decides they have to grow taller, so arranging everyone gets harder and harder each year! But above all, we hate being in front of the camera…*snort laugh* Okayyyy. Most of that is just completely untrue. You’ll probably gather that part way through this post, as most of these are out-takes. We did, however, manage to take one shot everyone agreed on to be our 2010 Christmas picture. YAY!

Thought I would give you guys a peek at what I’ve been working on the past few days. Welcome inside the new studio! Home of Eden Photography AND Quaint Creations. (Family owned businesses, you know.. ;D) It’s located on the farm and in its former life, was the family playhouse. In its realllly former life, it was a chicken coop! It’s going to be nice to meet my clients here now. It’s more Eden Photography than Starbucks! Enjoy the tour…
