Say Hello to Andy & Kim! I’m shooting their wedding this August and after this cute shoot, I’m SO excited for it! I always tell my couples to bring a prop that has a story behind it. Kim totally outdid herself and brought not only some letters from Andy, but coke bottles, a picnic basket and blanket and books too! We ran around my farm for a couple hours while Andy carried my chairs around and we swatted at mosquitos.. I have a great video of them slapping away furiously in my field! haha

I’m so excited to blog these photos! Michele (my sister-in-law) and I have been throwing out ideas for a vintage shoot for a while…it all started when she received her grandma’s wedding dress- yes, the purple dress! Her grandma was a waitress back in the day, and saved her tips to buy this dress. It fits Michele perfectly too! These photos are going to her grandma as a surprise, so if you know her- don’t say anything yet. ;D Anywho, here is their 2nd anniversary shoot…

My first thought was that they were very ethereal and pretty, but I particularly love the sentimental story behind them. The photographer’s sister in law, Michele, is wearing her grandmother’s purple wedding dress in this shoot, which her grandmother had to save up her waitressing tips to buy back in the day. Nope, sad to say I do not live on a beach in North Dakota- this is a shoot from California last month. This super cute family is friends of Rosie and they modeled for us at Balboa Park… SUPER cute place! I have so many pictures from there and I narrowed it down to my favorites: just 92 photos. DON’T WORRY… I figured I should probably go easy on those of us with slow wifi…so be sure to thank me as you’re looking at the following 10 photos instead. ;D

I LOVE shooting other photographers. They always have great input and ideas for our shoots! Josh is a photographer here in my city and I was so excited when they contacted me for engagement pictures! Josh and Bre are getting married this June. Congrats you guys!!! And great job with the modeling…these are right up there with my favorite engagement shoots… ;D

PS: we worked out a trade and I got a giant round frame out of this shoot! Thanks Josh!
