I had totally forgotten about this shoot until this morning when my friend texted me about it! Madison (this family’s niece) and I shot these in Hudson, WI last month on maybe the hottest night of the year. At least to me! We were all sweating like pigs (someone told me pigs don’t sweat by the way…I need a new phrase now) 5 minutes into the shoot! So it didn’t last long at all but we did get these cute photographs in those few minutes. It was fun meeting your family and thank you so much for hosting us. We were totally spoiled with Caribou Coffee delivered right to our room in the morning! ;D

This sweet family is enjoying their first summer here in North Dakota…which means they have survived a winter up here too! We tried scheduling this shoot a few times but had to cancel a few times and then finally, the shoot happened on a perfect Sunday afternoon. Thanks for being patient guys…I know this preview should’ve been up long ago.

Nope, sad to say I do not live on a beach in North Dakota- this is a shoot from California last month. This super cute family is friends of Rosie and they modeled for us at Balboa Park… SUPER cute place! I have so many pictures from there and I narrowed it down to my favorites: just 92 photos. DON’T WORRY… I figured I should probably go easy on those of us with slow wifi…so be sure to thank me as you’re looking at the following 10 photos instead. ;D

I still remember the first time I’d ever talked to Lauren on the phone.. she called me to say she was interested in photography and wanted to pick my brain! We clicked instantly and before I knew it we’d talked for 45 minutes.. (a long time for me to talk on a phone!) and I’d never even met her! Since then we’ve eaten a few meals at Applebees speaking photography and we’ve even shot a couple weddings together. But since they live way on the other side of the state, we’ve never done a shoot of just them! FINALLY the day after Thanksgiving they were close and I drove to Grand Forks, ND to shoot Lauren & Sean at a beautiful place with stables, fences, haybales…obviously Lauren and I think alike. ;D

I had a few extra moments today and thought I should probably update the blog! This family was so cute! Kasey and I had talked a bit about outfits beforehand, but I loved what she did the day of the shoot! We walked all over my farm and found some great new places for photos- hard to do since I’ve shot here since the beginning of Eden Photography…
